Real work (i.e. that work in which I get paid) has come to a stop until the new year at least, so I've dived back into Book 2 as of this morning again and wrote c.1,500 more words. I intend to try and work on it everyday until another job comes in.
As I'm not sure where to go with Book 1 I splurged on a freelance editor for advice. She comes highly recommended to me from trusted sources and is now reviewing the MS before I submit to agents in the US. I'll probably need to do a lot of work to that too prior to submitting it, so I'm using this time on Book 2 to get my eye back in.
Really enjoyed the morning just writing as the snow pelted down outside. Must keep it up for my own sanity at the very least.
